This is one of the classic viewpoints of the Roman Forum. From left to right are the Temple of Vespasian, the Arch of Septimius Severus, the Temple of Saturn, and the church of SS. Luca e Martina. The church was built in the seventh century on the site of the Senate Archives. The façade was designed by Pietro da Cortona in 1634, following the discovery of a sarcophagus containing remains of S. Martina.
